Wheel Click in Reverse V70-XC70 2002

This is not really a problem, just a question out of curiosity. I keep meaning to ask my dealer but I never think of it when I have the car in for service.

I have a 2002 V70XC with AWD and if I have the windows open when I put the car in reverse, I often notice clicks coming from the wheels when I start rolling backwards. I once knew a guy who had an older model Mitsubishi SUV and the locking hubs on his truck clicked when he put it in reverse. Am I experiencing the same phenomenon or is it something different?

Just curious.
