heating problem 850 1994

I am having the same problem (I am new here). I have just replaced a blown ecc module, for some reason 2 of the capacitors had blown. I put the replacement in and it controls the fan ok, but the heater is cold. Would it benefit to check the fault codes or just go ahead with the thermostat like you suggested?

Also, I found the reference to check the ecc codes on brickboard, but I am confused as the controls do not seem to be the same on my 94 850 as were described.

BTW what is Bay13??
