Headlight Lense 850 1997

My Passinger side headlight has a hole in it. I have purchased a new one but I am not too sure how to do it. The book I have doesn't say what to do. From what I can see there is the clips that secure it to the light but am not sure if I have to remove the headlight wiper inorder to to do it. I see two clips on the sides to remove the bottom cover which gives you about one half to 3/4 of an inch....is that enough space to remove the clips? I just don't want to get started and find out I can't finish the job. Thanks for any help...VolvoLarry
