Yes, it is fairly easy to replace. You just follow the instruction in Bay13 : http://www.volvospeed.com/Dashremove.htm to open up the upper dash cover and take out the instrument cluster. Then you can see the temperature/clock module. While you are there, replace all the dash bulbs.

The temperature/clock module and the instrument cluster bulb kit can only be got from either Dealers or ebay.
