TRACS and ABS idiot lights coming on V70-XC70 1998

Before I take it in to the dealer, can anyone shed some light on this? Here's the situation...

My TRACS and ABS idiot lights have begun to come on simultaneously after extended driving in heavy traffic (i.e., more than an hour or so). Every time it's the same: suddenly both lights just come on with no accompanying noises or other strange behavior. Pressing the TRACS button has no effect. (I assume ABS is also disabled but haven't been in a situation where I could safely find out.) So far, If I pull over, turn off the engine, wait a few moments, and then turn it back on, the lights stay out and don't seem to come back on.
