1995 850 Turbo odometer error 850

Hello,

Just purchased a used 1995 850 Turbo with just over 87,000. My family does have several other bricks ('75 164, '84 240, '90 740, and 98 S70 T5) so have some experience servicing them.

The '95 850 has two problems (may be related??)
1.) Odometer is way off (shows 15.1 miles after traveling 10 actual miles)
2.) The service light will not reset using the 'A' connector, position 7, code 1-5-1

Other notes:
Odometer reads too far by about 150% using a GPS (both the trip and total) - The odomter is mechanical on this model.
The speedometer is accurate - indicated 70mph is 68mph on GPS.
The computer (air temp, miles per gallon, miles on tank, miles to zero) appears to be accurate.

So is there a separate process for the mechanical odometer and service light vs. the computer miles?
