Sunroof Gremlins 850 1995

Please help. My daughter, a college soph in school 100 miles away is having sunroof problems. The sunroof opens on its own as she is driving. She then has trouble getting it to close with the switch. I need some advice as to potential problem, long distance trouble shooting I can walk her through and temporary fix so she can get home. Thanks.
