Good Winter Tires V70-XC70

I have a 98 V70 and take my all season Michelins off for a set of 4 Motomaster Nordic Icetrac winter tires. For us Canadians good old Canadian Tire to the rescue. Motomaster may not have the same cache as Michelin, Pirelli, Yokohoma, etc, but they make a great snow tire for a great price. The Nordic Icetrac runs very quite for a winter tire. Until the Icetracs I have always run studded tires. These icetracs perform just as well on ice(minus the noise). They are, however, not as good in deep snow as a conventional winter tire. Don't get me wrong, they are far better in snow than an all season, particularily a performance tire.
