s60 w/ oil light coming on intermittent @ idle S60

bought a used 2001 S60 2.4T w/ 58K miles, always maintained by the
dealer and runs great. however, when stopping or turning, when the engine idling, the oil light comes on for 2-4 seconds fairly regularly, and then goes back out.

Any one else w/ this experience? Oil level is good, and engine doesn't make any
strange noises, I'm thinking that the oil pressure sensor is either faulty
or set low, the owners manual says this is 'normal' to happen occasionally but
this really scares me ...

anyone install a oil pressure guage in their car to verify, either temporary
or permanent?

Appreciate suggestions/feedback!

Thanks,
Luke
