First winter with my 850 850 1995

Our three drivers have never had any trouble in winter. We do use good snow tires all around.

I was out today in a blizzard (Massachusetts) and stomped on the gas when leaving a parking lot, the 855R did fine.

My wife has never complained about the 850s in winter, which is saying a lot!

We have never used any mode other than sport. When we need some power, we want it to show up!

Adding weight never made any sense to me, they don't add weight to race cars, do they?

If you just got your brick, buy some good winter tires and steel wheels, your summer tires will last twice as long, and you can carry one of the off-season tires as a spare. Make sure you wash the set you pull off each season, storing wheels in a bag with salt on them is bad news.
