Kuhmo Tires... Opinions & what I've read 850 1996

I've been doing some research and from the reviews I've read on TireRack.com the Kuhmo 716 & HP4 tires are rated excellent by most buyers. I still can't believe that a cheap tire ($37/ tire on tirerack and installed for less than $250) can be that decent. Almost all the reviews are positive and they handled well in the rain & were quiet and comfortable. Very reasonable results for a good cheap tire. Anyone out here ever driven on these tires???? I mean, what the heck for less than $250!!!!
