INtake kits?? 850

I've seen a few photos and most seemed fabricated. The stock system
uses a cold air intake and flows enough air for the turbo applications.
Intake is not really a weak area in the design so no real performance
gain to be had (and that kind of puts a dampner on the kit manufactures;
plus the size of the Volvo market is pretty small for them to go after).

You might double-check if you have a cold weather package. If you
do there is a small piece of plastic that blocks the intake (a bit)
where it draws cold air from the front of the car. A torx screw holds
the piece on from the top. If you have one, it is obvious. Of course,
if you drive in a lot of rain you might leave it since it is designed
to keep water out. Cars with electric heated seats typically
had the cold weather package.
