what octane to use for S80T6? S80

I have a 2001 S80 T6, it says in the manual that it's designed to run on 91 octane gasoline, but 87 is the minimum requirement...
what are you guys putting in your S80s? I just bought the car and have been using 91... but if 87 works okay, i'll go with that...
