Lawn Mower Syndrome vs Oil

As a curiosity, I've never experienced the starting problem known as "lawn mower syndrome". If the folks having the problems will post their oil preference, I think that would be a very interesting bit of info to gather and would help us all with this problem.
I am using synthetic, formerly Mobil-1 10w-30, and currently Amsiol 0w-30. Changing at 7,500 miles.
