Sold my V70 V70-XC70 1998

Marc,

You did exactly what I'm going to do. I had a '98 V70 AWD, great car but pot'l bevel gear problems. Dumped it; bot '96 Turbo wagon, love it, absolute pain in the ass. Heated seats, mirror, blower motor, hatch trim, PNP switch, oil consumption. etc etc. Previous car was an Acura. Next car will be Honda / Acura. Love the same things you do, hate the same things you do. Only problem with a new Honda is that there will be no drama: no flashing lights, check engine lights, no weird noises, no problems. Wait a minute - that's not a problem, is it? Good luck with the Honda.
