Electrical Question for a Volvo Tech! Help! 850 1994

The A7 socket is for diagnosing and reading the combined instrument panel. It's hard to figure how this would be causing your problem. I'm not a tech, but you might try disconnecting the battery for 15-30 minutes to see if this might reset something. Also, is the A7 socket giving you any codes?
