Strange noise on 1st acceleration 850 1995

Hi, All!

I've got a strange noise I'm trying to track down on my 'new' 1995 855 with a manual transmission. Upon acceleration, at about 15 mph, in 2nd gear, there's a muffled 'kachunk' noise. It reminds me of the noise that automatic door locks make when you're accelerating, but it's a tad quieter. The funny thing is, it only happens on the first acceleration after the car's been started. It only does it once; it doesn't repeat say, for instance, upon acceleration after a red light. It only happens after the car's been started on its first takeoff.

Any ideas? *Could* it be an automatic door lock on the tailgate? Or is there a transmission thing going on?
