Rear Door Lock S80

This isn't really related, but it's some experience of the partial disassembly of the door of my 2000 S80 T6 for my speaker installation. Look around the edges of the door panel. You'll see some small circular clips. To release these clips, you use something to push in the center of them. It will pop back about 1/4". Then you can pull the entire clip out. Remove all of the clips. Next, remove the small cover inside the door-pull handle. Remove the T25 screw behind the cover. Now the panel is free. Pull out at the bottom slightly. The panel is hooked over the 'lip' where the window goes. You'll need to pull the panel away slightly, then up. Then you can unhook the plug that connects to the light in the panel.

This is as far as I needed to go, but this should get you closer to the mechanism. Good luck.
