loose wiper 850

Larry,
You will probably need a new wiper arm. There are tiny splines on the shaft and inside the wiper arm hole. The arm is a softer material and wears out (strips) first. Don't try to tighten the nut too tight or you may twist of the shaft end, then you will be into a major repair. Tightening the nut may get you by for a while but if you have to contend with heavy snow you will be better off replacing the arm. It will fail when you need it most.
There will be lots of other common faiures. This one is fairly low cost.
Good luck,
Tom
