repairable still 850 1993

This is what my indie proposed. He said to first just to try a new belt (he also said dont hold my breath) and hope the piston didnt contact the lifters.

He found a used engine for 3000.00 plus tax, and he said that hed give me a good deal on installing it ($500.00 flat rate), because he just had the engine out to do a new clutch on it not to long ago. Altogheter is going to be about 3500, plus the governments cut!!

All things considered, (since I really love this car, even after this) I think going to get it done. Im sure it was just a fluke thing that happened to me, and I really dont see it happening twice!!

Anybody see it different, please tell my your thoughts!

Thanks!
