Putting my V40 on Jack Stands S40-V40 2001

I need to do the brakes on my V40 and would like to know the proper way to put the rear and later the front up on jackstands. What are good places to put the stands on? I assume I put my floor jack on the normal jacking point then try to locate a frame member for the stand, but I want to be sure I find a good location on each side. Any help would be appreciated.
