How to remove the steering wheel front cower? 850

There are two screws on the back of the wheel. You will need a long (4-5") Torx-30 bit to get to them. Since you will be working with a loose airbag connector, it is recommended that you disconnect the battery first. Turn the wheel 90-deg to the left to access the first screw opening, then 180-deg right to get to the second one. This will loosen the air bag, but be careful since its wire is still connected. You can remove the wire from the back of the bag, but don't turn the ignition on with the battery connected until all is back in place; otherwise, you will set an SRS fault code. The two airbag screws are replaced in reverse order (per the caution sticker inside).
