radiator leak 850 1994

I started to use some antifreeze, so I took off the splashguard from under the front and let the car heat up. It seems to be leaking where the plastic ends clamp onto the aluminum body on both sides at the bottom. It seems strange both sides would leak, is it possible this would result from freezing? It got down to about 5 deg. F at night, but it has 50/50 antifreeze, it may be old, I recently bought the car. Anyway, 1. is there a fix - can I crimp the tabs holding the ends on? 2. Any reason I can't try leak-fix in the radiator? 3. Know any good junkyards for Volvos in central PA?
