normal brakes for an 850???? 850 1997

You state that the rotors were turned, so I know you did'nt have OEM pads installed because no dealer would turn the rotors. Fact is, aftermarket pads tend to have more "brake fade" which is what you are describing. Also, a lot of aftermarket pads squeek.

If you can't afford to take your car to the dealer for maintenance, then sell it. Don't cry when the local shops can't deal with the technology anymore and you're tired of guessing what parts to throw at it.
