Mickey, thanks for your reply, Just got back this minute from the Volvo dealer. Told them I had lost total confidence in the car. Ironically on the way to work this morning while driving a co-worker the car did the same thing and we just missed getting into an accident. After hearing my story the Volvo dealer which is very reputable suggested a meeting with the local rep. Just as you suggested I am going to request that they take me out of the Lease. I have 4 volvos, have steered many people to Volvos but when it comes down to the fact that I don't feel safe in a car that I bought for safety it's time too sail off into the sunset from the deal. I told the Service Manager that they were about to lose a customer(which I think prompted his action and the recomendation for the meeting with the rep which I not sure what too expect.
Here are my thoughts: I am paying 314.00 (good deal) a month on a v70 wagon(non turbo) Leather, heated seats, power drivers seat, with a a slider too cover things in the back. I have 9 months left on a 39 month lease. If I were too remain a Volvo customer I would want a no money down, same payments per month and an upgrade to a V70T Wagon under a new lease with a decent buyout. If they can't accomodate me on my loyalty to Volvo I will buy a Lexus. It's up too them. At this point especially after today's incident, I guess I don't care. Thanks too all who responded . Mike
