get my bearings? 850

Bearing noise should change when turning. Driving slow so you can hear, turn back and forth. Doesn't have to be hard turning, just enough to change the load on the bearings.

Noisy during left turn = right wheel bearing
Noisy during right turn = left wheel bearing
No change = something else

I have 2 850's and have replaced the front left bearing/hub on both. I did it myself in a couple hours but it would be easy in a shop with better tools/equipment. Hardest part is getting the hub nut off, plus the hub is held on with star sockets (like big reverse torx bits) - not something everybody has in the toolbox.

The part is about $150.
