Question about '99 S70 automatics... S70

It's funny sometimes I feel when I floor the lady, she responds in different ways. One day, shit, she fly's like a bat out of hell and you get almost thrown back in your seat. Other times it's just mediocre, like no turbo kicks in when floored. perhaps due to computer calculations with regard to temp, density, fuel flow etc.
But it sure feels good when entering a highway ramp and you let loose. Very strong engine indeed in my opinion.
