Volvos VIP won't cover that but was your car sold as a "Volvo Certified Used Car"? IF so, you might then have some luck with the dealers used car manager as it does require same type tires all around to be certified. It says that on the certified check list sheet.

If it was just a normal used car (not Volvo certified), then no, there's no laws or rules that would require someone else from putting the wrong tires (or two different brands) on that car, it'd be buyer beware.
