Suspension Issues S70 1998

If it's still under any type of extended warranty they can't just replace parts because you tell them to, they need to diagnose a problem (bad part) first or the claim is denied to the dealership. Add-on warranty companies like Volvos VIP also send inspectors to inspect anything that gets costly so that process can complicate things and the inspector has to agree with the dealer techs diagnosis or nothing will happen.

So, what you then need to do is go on a drive with their tech so that the tech can verify that a problem does still exist and if he also hears the noise and thinks the car has unusual handling too, they'll have to diagnose the problem. Could be bad upper strut mounts causing the noise if both stabilizer links were already replaced.
