It depends on whether you really want better light output or you want the "look" of better light output.

If you want better light pattern, buy the e-code lenses. I have them and they really do make a difference. The light is nicely cut off and sheds more light toward the side of the road.

If you want the look, buy the bulbs and forget the lenses.
