Rough Start & Check Engine light S70 1999

I have a S70 GLT 1999. I get the same problem you do. I learned to drive the car before i go on vacation. Let it sit until the engine is about 98.6 or body temp. than start the car for about 10 seconds and shut it off.

When i get back after 4-5 days it is a bit rough but not too rough. If i dont i get the same problem you do. Also i found some small bits of metal in the engine oil when i change it. As long as i do this procedure i dont get metal shavings in the engine oil. Also i use Mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic.
