Windscreen wash/wipes - sometimes! 850

Dear Brickboard

I have recently developed a fault in my wash/wipe system.

When I pull the switcht to squirt water it doesn't squirt water but the wipers wipe.

I replaced the washer jet valve under the hood but where is the earth point for the windscreen wash/wipe?
