no start problem.....tough one 850

Your problem is probably related to the work that you did.

The no start condition is probably not related to one of multiple components such as plugs or injectors, but related to an electrical connection that came apart when you were working. If one plug, wire, or injector was the problem, the car probably would start, but run poorly.

Have you tried to pull codes from your car? How was it running before you did the repair?

If it was running GOOD, that may indicate that someone doctored something to get around the hose problem. I had a problem with our '90 744 TI that was related to a hole in one of the turbo hoses. Someone had doctored the idle control to make up for the hole and the car was getting far too much fuel when I tried to start it. I also found that the electric fan did not work, and the thermostat had been doctored to stay open.

Have you owned the car for long? Is there any chance it ws doctored?
