turbo? 850 1996

Not worth it. The engines are substantialy different internally. Different valves, pistons, thicker cylinder liners etc. Then there's the ECU, wiring and external hardware to consider. Intercooler & plumbing, coolant and oil plumbing to and from the turbo, turbo control valve, If you (or anyone) did the mods, you'd end up with a car that wasn't as reliable as a factory turbo and also had little resale value. Especially if you need to pass emmissions tests where you, or a prospective buyer, live.

Best bet is to sell your 850 and buy a 850 turbo.

Sorry,
