Cold Start Question 850

Difficult problem. I think people will just be guessing.
So, here is a guess: It is running rich for some reason.
Too rich and the engine won't have much throttle response
(similar to a flooded engine). 850s do seem to me to run
a bit rich when cold. Was it stumbling when you pressed
the accelerator?

A 95 has a mechanical throttle so I don't think it is related
to throttle position. But the amount of fuel injected is
computer controlled which is why I would think it might be
in that area.

By any chance did you start the car up, run it for about 10
to 20 seconds (as if moving a short distance) and then shut it
down right before this happened? With a cold engine that can
lead to something similar (often called "lawn mower syndrome").
Not likely, I know, but thought I'd mention that.
