Windsheild Replacement 850 1993

First of all, Pilkington is OEM for Volvo Windows/Windshields. I've never heard of fine wires in the front windshield and I've replaced windshields...one in a Volvo '94 850 with the Pilkington. Also, if you want one with the Volvo Logo in it, you will most likely have to go to the dealer for that...high$$$. I would go with Pilkington...glass is better than from indo-china, and if you ever decide to sell your car, it will help you. Just look in your yellow pages and ask your indie shop...shop around. You'll find lower costs than what you're being quoted. My front windshield replacement last year before selling the car, with Pilkington, including labor was about $250 and I was very satisfied. Was nice to get a new windshield without the rock pits in it.
