Moaning in cold; rpm- and steering-sensitive V70-XC70

2001 V70 T5; 60k. Symptons: Moaning (loud) from engine compartment at cold start (below 20 degrees); moaning when turning steering wheel while engine is still cold (goes away after warmup); moaning is rpm-sensitive (increases with engine speed). I have searched and found numerous references: belts; tensioner; motor mounts; blower motor; pumps; oil viscosity. I was wondering if anyone has recently experienced the same and been able to correct it. Thank you.
