Why buy Volvo? V70-XC70

yngadult,

It's a Euro-car. They are not maintenance free and Volvos require more attention than most.

Like many of the other posters I do most of my own work. Not only does it save a considerable amount of money, but it gives me a chance to closely monitor the condition of the vehicle.

My '98 S70 had the well documented annoyances during its first couple of years. They were covered by warranty. Since then the car has been fine.

If you want a relationship with your car, then a Volvo is probably a good buy. If you regard a car as an appliance, then you should avoid a Volvo.

Bryan
