Mobil 1 prices 850

In a previous post, someone asked the cheapest place to buy Mobil 1 oil. Let me say that "it ain't Germany". When I ordered my '95 850 for Euro delivery, I asked for syntheyic oil in the motor since it had synthetic in the manual tranny. I accepted delivery and set off to see Western Europe. I was cautioned about keeping a check on the oil level (DUH), and to keep the speed under 80 MPH for 1000 miles. OK. During an oil check at one of the Autobahn service areas, I found the oil down almost a quart. I bought a 1 liter jug of Mobil 1 for a price of 30.85 DM. ( I still have the container) After the conversions were done, the oil cost $26.00 a QUART. I don't even like to think what it would cost now.
