Bulb out sensor problem S70 1998

mine has the problem intermittently as well. for a few months at a time it will flash whenever i step on the brake, but then the problem goes away for a while. I ignore it unless it comes on steady (and even then its usually just a matter of tapping on the trunk lid to get my faulty left parking light to come back on).
