stereo problems, help! trade it for a SC-816 850

Don't spend any money to repair it if it comes to that. You can pickup a SC-816 stereo/CD player off of Ebay for about $200 that plugs right in. Or you can trade in your old SC-811 for a new SC-816 at the dealer for a little more. To remove the old radio just push the two flush tabs in quick (those vertical tabs on either side of the lower face-plate), and they'll pop out then pull the radio out by the tabs. You kind of tap them in quick and they pop back out, releasing the radio. Make sure you have the security code before you take power off the radio though. The new radio/CD will come with a new code. Everything is plug-n-play.
