Alloy wheel...........better idea XC90 2004

The term "refinished by Volvo" is technically incorrect. The reality is simply that your dealer will try to have the wheels polished or touched up as best possible themselves.

Being very expeienced, I can tell you that if you plan to have snow tires installed/removed twice a year on mag wheels, you will always have scuffed wheels AND the tires beads will also be weakened in time from going on/off wheels, it's hard on your tires too. If you've ever seen tires replaced, you'ld see why your wheels can get scuffed and especially if they have an older tire machine.

What I and most others with mags especially do is buy a set of steel wheels so that your snow tires are permanently mounted to those. Not only will that keep your mags and all tires in good condition, it'll be far cheaper in the long run as you won't be paying to have tires mounted/balanced twice per year.
