855 OEM roof rails 850 1996

I saw the earlier post on the door jamb mounted racks, I hate to ruin door seals as my racks are on all the time(surf).

Has anyone retrofitted an 855 with the Volvo roof rails? The Channels are set up with threaded holes, I think you have to drop part of the headliner to access the bolts? Also, the channel molding on my car is one piece from A post to wagon hatch. Is there a different piece of molding that mates with the feet of the roof racks? It would be several sections of molding on each side.
