FM Radio Cutting Out 850 1996

Thanks for the input. Sorry you're a glutton for punishment. One thought - I'm not an electronics expert, but I do know that the FM radio operates on a different wavelength than the AM radio. In other words, the two sides of the radio do not share the same antenna. The AM radio uses a horizontal bar near the back of the radio, and the FM is obviously external. You have inspired me to pull my radio to dabble though, because you could be right about the FM antenna connection. Maybe I could see something. I think I'll buy an ohmeter this weekend and try to find a problem. Thanks for the thought. I'll let you know what I find out.
