no start - no spark 850 1994

Are you sure about the spark? Have you actually pulled one of the spark plugs and turned the engine over to check it (another option is to use a timing gun)? Have you checked that fuel is getting to the engine? If you pull off the aluminum fuel injector cover, there is a fuel pressure release valve on the driver's side of the rail. There is a blue cap, when unscrewed, reveals a shrader valve (just like a tire valve). After cranking your engine a bit, there should be quite a bit of fuel pressure in the rail. Test the pressure, but be careful since the fuel is under high pressure! Cover the valve if you don't want gas to get everywhere and wear eye protection. If there is little or no pressure, it's most likely the fuel pump. There is also an outside chance it's the fuel pump relay which is located under the fuse box.

If it is the fuel pump, it's not bad to R&R. I believe you can get one from FCPGroton.com for about $180.
