New front control arms - what a difference! 850

I just had new fron lower control arms put on my 1995 855. The ride has improved, especially handling the bumps of winter roads. The front wheels seem more composed, even though I have had Bilstein sport struts and shocks on for a while now.

When I had the car in for a flat tire patch, I was shown the play in the drivers side wheel, fore and aft. The passenger side was fine, but I elected to have both replaced, since an alignment is required afterwards, and I know that if I only replaced one, the other would go very soon thereafter.

I consider the durability of the control arms pretty good - mine were original in car driven in Michigan its whole life with 150,000 miles. If the new pair last til 300,000 miles, then I will be very happy, to say the least.
