1994 Blower Motor 850 1994

I have a 1994 Volvo 850. The blower motor recently became noisy when it is in use. I thought that I could probably take it out and lubricate it so that I wouldn't have to spend the money on a new one just yet (I am a college student). I took the glove box assembly out and have located the blower motor. My question is how to remove the blower motor with an airbag present. I have read previous posts on this and other websites and no one has mentioned the presence of an airbag. Also, is it worth lubricating the motor rather than buying a new one. Typically, how long does lubrication last? Just hoping that someone with experience could advise. Thanks in advance--Joe
