Central Locking Location? 850 1995

I have a 1995 850GLT. All courtesy lights stay on with all doors closed. The rear driver and passenger door warning lights (red lights on door edge) are also on, but the front driver and passenger door warning lights and foot area lights are off. I used the wiring diagram of Haynes manual for troubleshooting. If I removed the courtesy lights fuse (#15), all lights were off. If I put back the courtesy fuse and removed the central locking fuse (#6), the courtesy lights were off but the two rear door warning lights remained on. According to the diagram there are two possibilities. 1) The central locking relay is bad and always grounds both of the rear door warining lights. 2) Both the door switches are bad and remain on ground position.

I think it is highly unlikely that both the door switches are bad, so most likely the central locking relay is bad. Where is the relay? How common does the relay go bad? The relay is expensive. Is there anyway to find out for sure that the relay is bad? Any advice would be appreciated.
