1994 Blower Motor 850 1994

I just did this last week on my 94 850 turbo. As other posters have said, you don't have to remove the airbag at all. Check out http://volvospeed.com/volvo_performance.php for pictures on how to get in there. Note that the purple connector in the mess of wiring is for the airbag. You don't want that thing going off with your head in close proximity.

I would suggest getting the $129.00 complete fan from FCPgroton.com. I don't know how you would get the squirrelcage fan off the motor shaft without breaking it. Take your time, follow the volvospeed directions, and good luck. I did it in my garage when the temp was -10 out without wind chill. Took a couple of hours.
