I assume your talking about the odometer, not the computer thingie.

I think you have a Canadian gear driving your odometer. This will not affect your speedometer. The US is the only country in the ENTIRE world that has not adopted the Metric system, as a result, your instrament cluster needs to be altered. You get a larger odometer gear to make your odometer to make your read out turn over slower, and a different facing for your speedometer and fuel gauge.

2.6 miles is 4.212 KM, Im sure thats whats wrong!
